The adapter is an important part of the library. Dynegene has developed its own patented U-adapter, significantly improving the library's conversion rate while maintaining its complexity to the greatest extent possible. The adapter can be paired with the original "2 & 4" bp unique molecular identifier (UMI) to reduce false positives when detecting low-frequency mutations effectively.
There are two types of Y-adapters: truncated adapters and full-length adapters:
1. The full-length Y-adapter is easy to operate and compatible with PCR-free library preparation.
2. The truncated Y-adapter boasts higher ligation efficiency, resulting in increased library yield with the same number of PCR cycles.
Additionally, Dynegene offers adapters tailored for MGI and Ion Torrent platforms for more versatile library preparations.
